Mammals almost wiped out with the dinosaurs

A study by the Milner Centre for Evolution at the University of Bath has found that over 90 percent of mammal species were wiped out by the same asteroid that killed the dinosaurs in the Cretaceous period 66 million years ago, significantly more than previously thought.
