Kosovo’s football clubs will have to wait at least a year to make their debut in European competitions after failing to comply with UEFA regulations in time to play next season.
Kosovo was accepted as the 55th nation by UEFA last month which ensures them a place in the first qualifying rounds of the Champions League and the Europa League for the domestic league and cup winners — provided they meet UEFA’s club licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations.
