John Stones listed in Man City's Champions League squad by UEFA

ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti says Everton are holding out for Man City to meet their asking price for John Stones.
Manchester City had been linked with a move for Everton and England defender John Stones all summer, but as of Tuesday morning no deal had been officially announced.
However, when UEFA published the Man City squad for the Champions League playoff round it had one very interesting addition. 

Will John Stones be playing for Manchester City later this month?
Along with new signings Nolito and Leroy Sane, there was the name of a certain John Stones. UEFA displayed the defender as  having the No. 24 shirt — which was vacant on the Man City squad list.
