Fewer public car parks offering free parking on Sundays

SINGAPORE – There are fewer public car parks offering free spaces on Sundays compared to six years ago.

Only 55 per cent of Government and Statutory Board car parks offer free parking on Sundays currently. The proportion was higher in 2005 and 2010 – at around 70 per cent, highlighted Senior Minister of State for National Development Desmond Lee in response to a question from Non-Constituency Member of Parliament Leon Perera in Parliament today.
